So Why Go Organic Pest Control with Arrow Pest?
Simply stated, because it doesn’t take nuclear waste to kill a bug! Many things, including hair spray and soapy water, can kill a bug. Thankfully, Mother Nature has devised a great many materials that will keep the bugs at bay. In fact, if not for all the natural control agents in nature, we would literally be up our necks in bugs. So thank goodness for Mother Nature.
Some people are more sensitive to excessive chemicals, or have severe allergy or immunity problems. The use of natural pest control materials may be a answer for you. Examples would be Boric Acid– a safer, organic alternative for pest control; Essential Oils, a safer more natural way to control pest and bugs; Diatomaceous Earth, a healthier more organic way to eliminate pest and bugs.
Why Organic Pest Control Arizona Over Normal Service?
Safer Alternatives
In order to live without being overrun by the pests, we should not have to settle for a compromise that forces us to expose ourselves and our families to general pesticides, especially when safer alternatives are available that not only work better, but also last longer. There are products containing ingredients such as diatomaceous earth, boric acid and essential oils, and bait’s that will solve almost any pest problem you will encounter.
We provide the knowledge and expertise to use these products to their fullest advantage. The fact is, pest control is not about which material to choose, it’s about a trained and licensed technician knowing the habits and biology of the pest in question, and then choosing the most effective technique and material to do the job. The material choice has more to do with the environment where it will be placed, than with the bug we’re after. For example, if the environment is too wet, a dust formulation is probably not the right choice because the moisture will trap the dust, making it unavailable for the pest to pick up. Or, if the area has decorative stonework or tile, spraying an oil-based formulation might be the wrong choice because it would leave an unsightly residue, not to mention the hazard of slipping. Baits may be more effective than using a spray, even during the rainy time of the year.
The choice of an active ingredient is even less important, because all pesticides will kill bugs. So, the choice of which active ingredient can be made based on the potential risk to people, pets, the environment, and the threat to non-target animals and plants is important. This is when proven, all natural materials and pest control methods become the obvious choice. If not placed properly, even the most toxic materials will fail. Placed properly, even the least toxic materials will succeed, every time. So really, if results are the goal, what is the point of using a more toxic material to get rid of pests or rodents than is needed?
ARROW PEST CONTROL, your local organic pest control providers, do not use, carry, or store restricted-use pesticides. They are among the most toxic and highly regulated pesticides available. Our normal use pesticides have very low toxicity rates. We are proud to offer services conscious of people and the environment, all while still taking care of pest problems. If you have any questions, one of our team members is available to assist you.
What Can I Expect with Organic Pest Control?
Any pest control program, whether using conventional chemicals or naturally occurring materials, is designed to control part of the natural world. It is almost always trying to control that natural world in an un-natural setting. That setting being your landscaped and watered yard. Even when we try to create a natural setting, we still tend to create an environment that is not the same as nature would make it. Especially with regard to the amount of water we add so that our landscape will look healthy year round.
One of the consequences of our creations is a landscape that is really un-naturally healthy, right down to the bugs. We give them food, in the form of decaying organic matter from leaf litter, compost, pet waste, etc. We give them shelter in the forms of leaf litter, patio slabs, cool decks, water valve boxes, and even the walls of our homes. And then we give them water, and lots of it, at the base of all our plants, from irrigation, and our pet bowls, and even our swimming pools.
There are a couple of things every bug needs to survive: food, water, and shelter… which we provide in abundance. If just one of those three could be eliminated, there would be no bugs. But, since very few of us are willing to make those adjustments to our landscape designs, we will always have pest bugs.
Flying insects are the exception of that last statement. If the flying pest originates from somewhere other than your property, we can’t do much about it. If they are coming from your yard, we can probably help, but will usually need lots of co-operation from you. Example would be Flies, Mosquitoes, Bees or Wasps.
What Pest Control Can/Cannot Do
FIRST AND FOREMOST, no pest control program can totally eliminate all bugs from your environment. Our focus is to keep them out of your home. The pests that can’t be eliminated may at least be controlled. After all, what makes most bugs into pests is a matter of how many bugs there are. A few ants working in your yard may not be pests, because they don’t come inside, and they aren’t in an area where people are likely to get stung. Once they move inside, or to your patio, they become a pest.
How much control we achieve will depend on a variety of factors, sometimes including your co-operation, giving the program time to work, and your personal tolerance for bugs. You will normally notice an improvement right away, but sometimes it may take a week or two. Your technician will tell you what to expect at your home or office. If, after that period of time, you have not seen the improvement we explained, we would expect you to call us back for a free follow up service.
In some situations, it is normal to need a follow up or two. As long as you call within your guarantee period, the follow up visits are always free.
GUARANTEE means: We guarantee the effectiveness of our material applications as long as they have not been disturbed or altered in any way after the application is complete. Remember it does not mean that you will never see another bug again.
